The keto diet plan is one of the most effective weight loss methods; here the body is transformed from consuming low carbs every day to almost no carbs per day and also increase the fats consumption to a high level. This is a smart process from weight loss as this gets the body to a state otherwise known as ketosis.

Now as the body needs energy it first works through the carbohydrate and glycogen stores, after depleting it moves towards the fat in the body in the need of fuel. The general ratio content for the food is around 70-80% fat to 20-30% protein. This is the minimum content for the first few days of the process. Now as you go deeper in to the process, you will have to increase the protein content and decrease the fat content. It is important to increase the protein intake as it is essential for the repairs of the muscle.

As you consume carbohydrates it produces the need for insulin and thus the pancreas releases insulin, which helps the store glycogen, amino acids and excess calories as fats. Now if you prohibit the intake of carbohydrate then it will reduce the storage of glycogen and the insulin will also not store excess calories as fat.

While making the calculation, you have to go through several things such as your body weight, daily consumption of protein, calories to be consumed according to the protein consumption, calories to avoid by taking fat instead. All these will help you to find out the amount of fat that you have to consume on a daily basis.

Eggs are one of the common ingredients in the keto plan, you can use them as omelette, consume them as after being hard boiled and it is also used as a pizza crust to have a low carb meal. Bacon also becomes an important item in the weight loss plan, whether in breakfast, salad garnish or burger topper and other dishes.

However, when you have such a high amount of fat in the diet, you are already feeling full and you must know that fats are the best source of fuel for the body. For individuals that are feeling very low on energy they can look to have a fish fillet one hour before workout start to get enough energy to go through the workout.

It is often recommended to not consume fats few hours after training. Well when you don't have to consume fats after the training sessions, then it definitely is also needed to lower down consumption of food before workout to increase the absorption process and the blood flow too. Thus the body tends to work with slow digesting energy source.
